The Room

Dinner in
My City

One table. One conversation. The kind you can’t have anywhere else.

Where every dinner starts

We talk to marketers every day.
We listen more than most.

Every dinner starts the same way: with a conversation. A real conversation with a senior marketer about what’s actually hard right now.

We hear about team structures that stopped making sense. Budgets that don’t match ambitions. The gap between what you’re expected to know and what anyone could actually know.

When we hear the same challenge from enough people, we do something about it. We find a table, invite the right people, and create the space to talk about it honestly. That’s where every dinner comes from. That’s where more than 100 of them a year come from.

The problem worth naming

One table.
One conversation.
Everyone in it together.

The majority of every dinner is a single, shared conversation. Not breakouts. Not speed networking. One table, one thread, everyone contributing. It’s a format that creates something most professional events never do: the feeling that you’re not alone in this.

01

Meet others in
your local community

These are your peers. Senior marketers and executives at brands and agencies in your city, navigating the same market, the same pressures, the same moment in the industry.

02

Get answers.
And people you can turn to

You’ll leave with solutions,  a perspective you didn’t have before, a framework someone else is using, and the relief of knowing how others are approaching the same thing.

03

Make the hard stuff
easier to tackle

The challenges don’t disappear after dinner. But they feel different when you have people in your corner who actually understand them. And yes, these evenings are also just a genuinely good time.

The challenge worth naming

It gets lonelier
as you get more senior.

The more senior you become, the more you’re expected to be the person with the answers. The one who has it figured out. The person the team looks to.

“You’re not there to trade problems. You’re there to trade how you’re tackling them. There’s a real difference.”

Our dinners exist for that specific gap. The conversation isn’t about venting. It’s about leaving with something you can actually use, from people who’ve been in the same room you’re in.

Another lovely evening at The Room

The Format

Small by design.
Off the record

A small group means everyone is part of the conversation. Off the record means everyone can actually be honest. That combination is rarer than it should be.

The guest list

A curated group of senior marketing executives. C-Suite, VPs, and Directors from brands and agencies in your city. Personally invited, not open to registration.

The Conversation

One table, one shared conversation for the majority of the evening. The topic comes directly from what members are actually dealing with right now. Not a panel. Not a presentation.

Off the record

Everything said in The Room stays there. Not a formality. It’s what makes the conversation real.

The invite

Complimentary for qualified executives. Our Community is made up of senior marketing leaders overseeing meaningful brand or media investment.

Where the industry gathers

A quieter table
at the industry's
biggest moments.

The big events are good for the industry. They’re not always good for conversation. When thousands of people descend on the same city, it can be hard to find the people worth finding. Let alone actually talk to them.

Our tentpole dinners give the community a place to land. Same format, same off-the-record standard, same small group. A familiar table in an unfamiliar week.
