Gizelle Hinson is a leading professional development and organizational culture consultant with over 15 years of experience. Her commitment to maximizing the potential of the schools, businesses and organizations that she serves while supporting professionals in the workplace; has made Gizelle highly sought after for various training, coaching, and organizational development opportunities across the country.
Currently, the Buffalo, native, serves as the Founder and Principal Consultant of The Mindful Institute, LLC. The goal of The Mindful Institute, LLC, a certified NYS MWBE, is to provide leadership development training, executive coaching and strategic frameworking for businesses, schools and other organizations by using mindfulness based strategies to improve productivity and promote wellness.
Previously, Gizelle was the Founding Director of Support Services at King Center Charter School, as well as the Founding Social Worker and College Advisor at Tapestry High School. In addition, she has demonstrated an unparalleled level of engagement working with staple institutions in Central and Western New York such as The Heart Foundation of Central and Western New York, Say Yes to Education, Syracuse University, On Point for College, Inc, as well as, Niagara Falls, Wyndanch & Buffalo Public School Districts, Monroe College, Buffalo State University, as well as teaching as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at SUNY Erie Community College.
Gizelle is a graduate of Syracuse University, where she obtained a B.A in Sociology, a Masters in Higher Education and a Masters in Social Work.
She is currently enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School for Executive Leadership.
Gizelle is also a proud member of both Jack & Jill of America and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
